Feel your best self with one of our quick, non-invasive body contouring services.
Fat freezing – or cryolipolysis – is our most popular treatment. Safe and non-invasive, this clinically proven procedure is a permanent fat reduction, requiring no anaesthetic or downtime.
How It Works
Fat freezing is a sophisticated, non-invasive alternative to liposuction and laser lipo – entailing far fewer health risks.
Cryolipolysis specifically targets fat cells, which cannot withstand freezing. By lowering the temperature of the area, it pinpoints the content of the fat cells – causing them to crystallise. The remaining content of the fat cells is then naturally disposed through the body’s lymphatic system – causing a fat reduction of up to 20 – 40%. No pain, no mess, just a more visibly Skulpted you!
Fat freezing is not only our most popular treatment, it is the no.1 fat reduction treatment. Why? Because it is clinically proven. Read more about it here.
At Skulpt Face & Body, we want to show clients their treatments have been successful. We have a variety of ways of measuring results, one of those is with the use of our body composition scanner, the Evolt 360.
Below is an example of a ‘small’ portion of information provided by the scanner. This client has had 2 treatments on the abdomen. No lifestyle changes were made, as can partly be identified by the ‘Lean Mass’. However, there has been a significant drop in the ‘Fat Mass’ (almost 2kgs), with full results not expected for at least another 8 weeks.
Our client’s bio age has significantly dropped too.
We have successfully transformed hundreds of bodies. Not only has there been visible results, we are able to get accurate results to the .01kg and % in each individual limb and torso.
The scan is included in the cost of your fat freezing treatment, it is conducted prior to your fat freezing treatment, mid-way through the results and again at the final stage of the results (12 weeks). The results from each scan is stored on your own mobile device via a downloadable app, where you can clearly analyse the success of the treatment.
More information about out body composition scanner can be found here.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is cryolipolysis results permanent?
Using fat freezing to freeze the area, we are initiating the apotosis process (a controlled program for cell death). Results are compared to liposuction, but without the downtime, pain and risks of uneven removal.
Treated fat cells are removed from your body, permanently. It is important to note, that should you choose to live an unhealthy lifestyle, you are at risk of growing new fat cells.
What happens during a fat freezing treatment?
Following consultation with one of our specialist therapists, a small applicator will be placed on the area to be treated. A gentle vacuum within the applicator will then pull the localised fatty pocket in – holding it in place while the applicator freezes the area. While this happens, we encourage you to sit back and relax in front of Netflix, listen to soft music, or browse the Internet with our complimentary Wi-Fi.
How long does a crylipolysis treatment take?
At Skulpt Face & Body, we have multiple fat freezing machines with varying sized applicators, treating small areas such as chin, armpit rolls and knees in 30 minutes, medium areas such as love handles, inner thighs and back fat in 45 minutes and larger area (abdomen) in 60 minutes. This allows us to be able to treat many areas at once, saving you lots of time.
Am I able to resume normal activities after my fat freezing treatment?
As crylipolysis is a gentle, non-invasive treatment, requiring no anaesthetic, clients are able to resume their normal activities immediately after the treatment. However, for full benefits of fat freezing, we do recommend avoiding some exercises post treatment. Our body specialist will be able to advise personal recommendations to you, dependent on your treated area.
Where do the fat cells go after the cryolipolysis treatment?
Once the fat cells are frozen and killed, the body’s immune system removes them from the body. As the fat is gradually broken down into toxins, the body considers it “waste” and it is eliminated through urine.
Does fat freezing hurt?
Clients describe the feeling of a cooling sensation for 5 – 7 minutes. After that it’s common for that area to feel numb for a little while.
When will I see results from fat freezing?
Fat freezing is not a fast results treatment, however it is permanent, so certainly worth the wait.
Clients often report seeing results as early as 3 weeks. Due to the natural way our bodies eliminate those affected fat cells, we generally advise results are more visible around the 4-6 weeks point. Our body composition scanner has picked up significant loss of fat cells by 4 weeks. The body is continuing to remove fat cells from the treatment up until 12 weeks.
We strive for each client to have as successful a treatment as possible. Having performed many fat freezing procedures, we are able to determine what extra things you can do to achieve better results, sooner.
What areas can be treated with fat freezing?
- Inner thighs
- Love handles
- Under arms (bingo wings)
- Back fat

- generally anywhere that is pinchable fat
